Rebecca Frost

PhD Fellow

Bio: Rebecca is a PhD student in Economics at Stanford University. Before joining Stanford, she worked at the Climate Impact Lab at the University of Chicago, earned a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia, and completed her undergraduate studies in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at Queen’s University. In her free time, she enjoys wildlife photography, gardening, and spending time outdoors.


Research: Rebecca studies how natural resource extraction shapes communities and the environment. Her research explores how economic activity can be structured to promote prosperity while minimizing environmental degradation and conflict.
