Bio: Anouch is a fourth-year student in the PhD program in Sustainable Development at Columbia University. She studied Biology and Ecology at the Ecole normale supérieure in Paris and Environmental Economics at AgroParisTech. To further explore the human-environment relationship beyond academia, she worked and interned in the Paris Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Electricité de France in Beijing, the IFPRI in Washington DC and Alternatives Economiques in Paris.
Research: Anouch’s research lies at the intersection of natural and social sciences as she explores how humans interact with the rest of the ecosystem via land use, with consequences on international migration, human and environmental health and agricultural production.
